ISO 9001:2008 the new version released (08/04/53)

       ISO 9001:2008 have been issued on November, 2009. It’s changed from ISO 9001:2000 to 9001:2008, the changes was more clarification of points but not increate the new requirements and also consistent the customer satisfaction for review to continue improvement of the quality management. The changed make it easy to consistent with the ISO 14001:2004.

       For the changed of ISO 9001:2008 standard can be on the surveillance audit or recertification audit within November 14, 2010.

The benefit of ISO 9001:2008 standard

• It’s be cleared from the ISO 9001:2000
• It’s easy to consistent with the ISO 14001:2004
• According with the ISO 9000 standard
• Expend in some of the requirement

Obligation of the ISO 9001:2000

• After the ISO 9001:2008 issued/printed on 1 year, all of the certificate (first issue or recertification) should be issue on the ISO 9001:2008
• After the ISO 9001:2008 issued/printed on 2 years, the ISO 9001:2000 certificate is expired
